Construction and Project

  • Lecturer
    • Franz Graf

The course is structured in two phases and seeks to introduce students to a method of critical analysis of some examples of built architecture, then drawing from it some useful information for the study of architectural design by analogy with the theme dealt with in the workshops. The first stage invites students, first individually, then organized into groups, to deal concretely with the redesign of some details related to typical recently completed buildings chosen in coordination with the design studios. The purpose is to make students aware of the consequences of certain architectural choices and construction materials. The second phase will accompany students in the study of the constructive aspects of their studio project through individual interviews.
