Organized
by i.CUP (institute for the Contemporay Urban Project) for the presentation
of the research “Industrial buildings – a survey, analysis, and appraisal of the potential
for conversion
of disused industrial buildings in Ticino”.
The objective of the workshop
is to analyze strategies and realized projects of reuse, transformation and redevelopment of dismissed
industrial selected by the international panorama. The workshop will focus on methods of intervention
for the riqualification and intensification of urban functions of the sites in relation with the construction
of new urban context.
