Archivio del Moderno

The Director of Archivio del Moderno, Letizia Tedeschi, will cease her activity at Università della Svizzera italiana on 1 March 2025. After 29 years of service, she will be concluding her research activity in Paris, from 2026, at a prestigious French research institute.

Università della Svizzera italiana would like to express its gratitude to the Director for her years of hard work and for the essential role she has played in establishing and leading the Archivio del Moderno since its founding in 1996. Thanks to her high scientific commitment, Archivio del Moderno has become an internationally recognised centre for advanced studies. It collaborates with universities, research institutes, foundations, archives, and museums around the world. USI would like to thank Dr Letizia Tedeschi for her commitment and dedication thus far and wishes her every success in her new role.

As outlined in the Statutes, the Academy Council has initiated a nomination process for her successor.
