The newly established IAST advances research and innovation in architecture through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates heritage preservation, adaptive reuse, structural design, and digital technologies, with sustainability and circularity as its core goals. It connects theory, design, and construction while rethinking buildings, materials, and methods across local and global contexts, linking teaching, practice, and research within the Accademia.
