The panel explores how low-carbon strategies, biobased materials, and digital technologies are transforming architectural practice and construction processes. From large-scale timber infrastructure such as Dock A at Zurich Airport (BIG + Ittenbrechbühl), to experimental construction, research-driven pavilions, and emerging approaches including largescale 3D printing and AI-supported design processes, the discussion highlights new ways of designing and building. Bringing together practice and research, the panel reflects on future opportunities and the evolving role of the architect in a rapidly changing technological and environmental context.
