ISUP Papers Launch

This event will mark the launch of one of the key projects for ISUP (The Institute of Urban and Landscape Studies) and offer important contributions to research and the dissemination of urban and landscape theory.
Jonathan Sergison (Professor at the Academy of Architecture, USI-Mendrisio and Director of ISUP) will present ‘More or less density,’ the first in a series of publications which addresses the interests and preoccupations currently explored at ISUP.
Thomas Weaver (Lecturer at the Academy of Architecture, USI-Mendrisio) will position this and future publications within a wider theoretical discourse and argue for relevance and necessity of publications and journals as the means by which ideas can be articulated and shared.
Mathias Clottu (Graphic designer) will present the graphic concept and introduce the structure he has developed for this open access, web-based publication.
A conversation will then be held between the speakers and Mariana Siracusa (Spazio bookshop and gallery, Milan), Janina Gosseye (Architect and Professor at TU Delft) and Mark Pimlott (Architect, Writer and Professor at TU Delft).
