Construction assistance for the design studios

The area of Construction and Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Franz Graf, is available to provide assistance for the study of construction features within design projects. At the BTM (Biblioteca Tecnica e dei Materiali) lecturers, assistants and students can request from the staff, bibliographical information, basic information on construction topics and access specific volumes, catalogues and samples of construction elements. In addition, design studios interested in developing construction aspects in detail can also request the assistance of the staff of the area of Construction and Technology, as described below. Assistance concerning aspects of construction for the design studios are coordinated with the professors and/or assistants of the design courses.

Types of assistance available and request terms:

1. Assistance in the form of collective critiques for the entire class with lecturers and/or teaching assistants. This method is the most advisable as it is more effective for teaching purposes.
   Written request via e-mail in advance to the staff of the Construction and Technology area by the lecture or teaching assistants of design studios.
    
2. Individual assistance to the students by appointment.
   Written request by e-mail in advance to the staff of the Construction and Technology area by the student, with assistant of the atelier in the CC.

Consultancy service is provided for the construction project in coordination with the design studios.
