The studio work will be based on the profound belief that architectural practice and theory are inseparable. Hence the typical design component of the studio will be accompanied programmatically by a preliminary phase of research and historical-critical investigation of significant case studies, identified by the teachers. As the studio’s title – EVERYTHING – suggests, the purpose of the course is to cover, both in the research phase and in the design phase proper, a very broad range of scenarios, while paying particular attention to the places in which to insert the projects as well as to the contemporary European context.
