Tel-Aviv, February 06-09, 2011
The Laboratory of Geosimulation and Spatial Analysis of the Department of Geography and Human Environment, Tel Aviv University, invites you to participate in a Workshop on Modeling Mobility in the city space. The workshop will be an exciting opportunity to present the recent projects of the S4 members on modeling urban vehicle and pedestrian traffic, public transportation, parking, accessibility, traffic accidents.
We call for papers that develop new models and tools for analysis and modeling of human mobility in the city space. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:
- Analysis of vehicle and pedestrian movement
- Vehicle dynamics
- Pedestrian dynamics
- Crowd behavior
- Patterns and models of residential mobility
- Traffic monitoring and prediction
- Public transport in the city
- Visualization of human activities in the city
- Location-based services
- Virtual geographical environment
